The idea of turning on the heat hasn%u2019t really yet occurred to me. Sure I have been a little on the chilly side, but when I am cold my mind doesn%u2019t think about turning on the house heat, it thinks I need more layers, a hot drink, and to bake a loaf of bread. That being said, after the littles came over and were complaining about how cold they were, I finally realized that yes, we don%u2019t really need to be this cold. But I still didn’t turn the heat on. (I know, I am so mean.) We have one more week until the end of the month and then maybe I will switch it on. To keep the plant alive I suppose, and so I don%u2019t turn into a popsicle too I guess.
This week started as usual, with hiking and camping. We hiked to some waterfalls that were gorgeous but the area we went to was packed with smelly (Cologne and perfume.. gross) tourist so it was a little annoying. But then we made out way up to Belvidere and set up camp outside my families cabin in the woods . That was amazing and fresh and happy. There was no going inside (locked up for the year) but the land there is the most amazing place and we just soaked up the good, hiked around some more, the mr fished, we ate, watched the sunset, had a fire, then crawled into the tent. Woke up, packed up, drove back to life and that was that.
The rest of the week was the week. It involved another trip to the dentist. Not to get my permanent crown, but to replace the temporary crown that I accidentally swallowed. Yup. So new temp crown (which already has a chip in it. No I do not eat rocks but jeez, what the heck?) until my real one goes in sometime next week. Gotta say, I am pretty sick of going to the dentist. What else? Oh, there was farm share pick up, the last summer share of the year. A little sad, but not too sad because winter share starts in a two weeks and I have a freezer fulled to the brim with food so I will survive. Oh, and the dirt pile form the mr digging under the house that was in the middle of the back yard is gone thanks to my smartly pants self. Our neighbors needed dirt for a project that they are doing around their house and instead of buying it, I had the idea that they could just take our pile, and they did! They got free dirt and we got rid of the dirt for free (we were going to rent a u Haul this week to move it all). So success was had with that and I feel all sorts of smug about it.
Any who. Friday, after spending the day loading kilns at the studio, we had the littles over for a pumpkin carving party. It tuned mostly into a throwing pumpkin seeds and guts at each other party, but it was a party involving pumpkins no less. The thing with the pumpkins that we get from the farm is that they are supper heavy and hearty and thick. Like 3 inches thick and a bitch to cut into, making it hard for the littles to actually cut. The mr and I did what we could do for the young ones but we let Barb do her own because she is old enough to almost cut a hand off. All in all the pumpkins were cut up enough and turned out great. I got most of the guts wiped up and collected the seeds to roast. Then we all lit pumpkin, walked some of the marshmallow sugar off, and the mr and I sent them to watch movies in the nook while he did whatever he did and I passed the f out. Woke up, fed them, and sent them all home. I spent the rest of my day running errands and cleaning seeds and pumpkin guts off the walls. For real. All over the house. I don%u2019t know why I still get surprised when the littles managed to do the impossible when it comes to messes. When will I learn?
And it%u2019s Sunday. And yes, we are suppose to go camping. The last hurrah of the camping season. But here is the thing. It is suppose to rain all day. So the question is..do we go anyway? I say yes but I am not so sure the mr is sold. What I am thinking is I am going to go the gym, the library, and maybe stop at the coop this morning and be home by lunch. If it is pouring, well we might rethink our plans, but a little misty rain, we can take it. Because I need this. Our last camp. I am already sad that the season is over. What I am hoping for is the weather to be wrong and that maybe we will only get a sprinkle or two and today will be the best camp ever. Wish us luck.

It%u2019s been a week of weeks if you know what I mean. The world. There is a lot to process, good and bad. And now I think I need to catch up with my mind. I feel like I have let it run to far ahead of the rest of me. Or maybe I am running away from it? Either way. I need to reign it it and focus. That is the goal anyway.
As our routine, we went camping on Sunday and it was just the best, an unexpected greatness. We started with a great hike through pastures and woods and to a gorge and then headed to the park to pitch the tent. D.A.R State park. Neither of us had ever been there before and hadn%u2019t heard anything about it, so we were not sure what to expect. And it turned out to be just fantastic. Big and spacious, pretty, relaxing, and right on the lake. Very few campers, all of which were old people. So quite. Our site was perfect and there was a sink near the bathrooms to wash dishes in. What more can you ask for? We played on the rock beach, made dinner, hug out by the fire, walked around the camp, went back down to the beach and skipped rocks while watching the sun set, and then crawled in to the tent for the night. The stars were crazy bright, the fireflies were everywhere, the sounds of the waves were faint but there. I was just as happy as as clam. Even when I woke up chilly. And then we woke up, made coffee, the mr fished for a few while I read and watched the sun come up then off and back to life we went.
After we got home Monday things got really busy and completely out of the norm. First off, the mr has been working a time sensitive job that has had him leaving as soon as I walk in the door in the morning and not getting home until I am in bed. And that in itself is not usual, but if that does happen, we will see each other during the day, at least for meals. It might not seem like such a biggy to most people, but for the past 17+ years, we have eaten almost every single meal together, and this week, no meals. I have been eating alone all week. At first I loved it because I love reading while I am eating and only ever do it on the very rare occasion that the mr is not home for a meal. But all week for lunch and dinner, alone. I have read 2 books, but I was starting to get lonely. I missed my mr. So sad. HAHA.
Anyway, while he was gone all week, I did some work, had coffee with my mom, made cookies with the littles, met Barb%u2019s boyfriend, and ate ten thousand tomatoes. I also spent a good chunk of time cleaning out the loft (again) for my dad, and oh, I don%u2019t even know, a bunch of other stuff. Then Jeff Dad came to VT. We went for a hike with couple littles at a state park, sat in traffic on the interstate for far too long, and then went to Megans house where I made dinner for everyone. I got to meet Anthony%u2019s girl friend ( a week of meeting the significant others), got a glimpse of the butterfly chrysalis, and made Sophia cry because we picked all her basil for pesto and she really really didn%u2019t want to share it. So I owe the girl a new basil plant.
Yesterday was family reunion up in Belvidere. The whole crew. Great as always. Seeing family is always the best. I love them all, even if they exhaust me and maybe make me want to run away screaming. But isn%u2019t that the way it suppose to be?
And then we came home, the mr left again to finish this job last night and came home while I was in bed. Again. But now he is done. And I am so excited to have him around, although this week is a new job that will be taking him away again. At least we have today. Camping. Ricker Pond State Park. I am excited. No work for the mr. Just him and me heading out into the wilderness with our tent and sleeping bags and a socks! Socks cause it had been getting chilly at night%u2026.YAY for cool late summer nights! I am so ready for some cool weather and to bust out all my sweaters!!!!

And pictures from the week.
Have I told you how amazing my farmshare is? I am sure I have, but if I haven%u2019t lately, well let me just tell you, it is. All summer long we (the members) get to pick a bunch of fresh herbs every week. Basil, scallions, dill, parsely, and cilantro. Planted every few weeks to keep us in the herbs all summer long. And every few weeks there is a herb free for all. Pick unlimited amounts of whatever herb is plentiful. Last week it was unlimited parsley. Yeah there was unlimited basil and that was nice too, but the parsley, the underrated, overlooked herb. That was what I wanted and I picked the shit out of it.
Parsley. No I is not just a green sprig that garnishes your plate at a restaurant. It is a great spicy, fresh, clean tasting herb that plays so well with everything. I really think parsley can, and should, make it%u2019s way into almost any dish. It adds a touch more brightness to any spice blend. And there is just something about munching on some fresh parsley, it just works for me. Parsley is good friends. No. Parsley is great.
So now we match said parsley with another bright herb, mint, and blend it up into a pesto. Magic on the tongue. And a no brainer for pesto is pasta, although this pesto would make a great spread or smothered on grilled veggies or scooped into soup.
A summery pesto pasta salad dish situation. Perfect for all the times that you are hungry and need food.
To the pesto pasta salad!
The stuff. Parsley. mint, a few scallions, toasted almonds, garlic, a lemon, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper, and olive oil. Also pasta, a cucumber, and a big handful of cherry tomatoes.
First for pesto. Start by pulsing the almonds in a food processor until they become a nice crumb. Remove about 1/4 cup and set aside.
Grab the herbs and scallions and remove any really wooden stems (keep the more tender ones) and rip the herbs into smaller pieces.
All the parsley, mint, and scallions now go into food processor with almonds, along with the garlic, nutritional yeast, the juice of the lemon, and a pinch of salt and some crack pepper. Pulse the food processor and stream in the olive oil until everything comes together. You might need to stop and scrape the sides a few times.
Now you need pasta. Cook it to the directions on the package you got it from. Cook it all the way through then when you strain it, rinse it with a little cool water.
Chop up the cucumber into small chunks and half or quarter the cherry tomatoes.
And to put it all together. Pasta goes in a bowl. Add in the pesto. If the pesto seems a little on the thick side and not easily mixes, add in a little warm water to thin it out a bit.
Add the cucumber and tomatoes.
Mix some more, sprinkle on lots of the crumbled almonds you set aside, maybe a few more springs of parsley and a few more leaves of mint for good measure and call it done.
Be ready to eat cause this salad is ready to be eaten.
-C
Makes a pound of pasta
2 cups packed parsley (Curly or flat. I used curly)
1 cup packed mint
a few scallions if you have them
3/4 cup roasted almonds
3 cloves garlic
a lemon
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2- 3/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper
1 pound bow tie pasta
Big handful cherry tomatoes
a tender skinned cucumber
Note. This recipe makes a big batch of pesto and big pasta salad. You can totally make the all the pesto and only use half and only boil half of the pasta. Just stored left over pesto in a jar in the fridge for about week or so or stick it in the freezer for a few months. And you can use it for all sorts of great things like sandwiches, salads, as a dip%u2026 whatever you want.
To make the pesto. Place almonds in food processor and pulse until crumbly then remove about a 1/4 cup and set aside. Add in the garlic and pulse a few times. Then grab the parsley, mint, and scallions. Remove any tough stems and rip the herbs into smaller pieces. Add them to food processor along with the nutritional yeast, the juice of the lemon, and a good pinch or two of salt and lots of pepper. Pulse while slowly adding in the olive oil. Stop, scrap sides, then pulse until smooth. Taste and add more salt if needed.
Half or quarter cherry tomatoes and cut cucumber into small chunks
Cook the pasta. Big pot of boil water with a pinch pf salt. Cook until fully cooked, then drain. Give it a quick rinse of cool water. Dump the pasta into a big bowl.
To make the pasta salad. Scoop pesto into bowl with the pasta and mix it until all the pasta is evenly coated. If pesto is really thick, just add a little warm water to thin it out. Add in the cut up tomatoes and cucumber, mix, then top with the reserves ground up almonds and a handful more of chopped fresh mint and parsley.
Eat.
Left overs should be stored in fridge for a a few days. Left over pesto a week or so and or in the freezer for a few months.
It%u2019s official. Summertime is here. Take it all in and enjoy it because that%u2019s what we need to do. Before it is gone again.
The week has been good. Besides the usual work and stuff, we have spent a lot of time with our people and trying to do things outside everyday. There was an afternoon of Barb and Coco where we went to the beach to find drift wood and throw rocks. Megan and So came over for lunch and teeth wiggling (her two from teeth a loose!! (Sophias, not Megans)) another afternoon. We stopped over to Erins to see the painting mess and Coco drawings all over the walls. The mr and I went for a little hike that took us out under bridges to a graffiti wonderland. That was unexpected and very cool.
Then there is thing that has been on my mind for the past few days. One night in the middle of the week, the mr and I both woke up to a terrifying screaming noice. Like something was dying, killing something, or some creature was about to suck out my soul. It definitely was not anything human. It freaked me out so much that I didn’t want to get out of bed to look out the window because I thought whatever was making the noice would see me awake and come kill me or some shit. So I laid in bed until it stopped then was worried it stopped because I didn%u2019t know where it went%u2026. CREEPY AS FUCK! And it happened again Friday night. So I am officially scared that the hell moth in opening up in my back yard. Or it could be a fox. Not sure. I%u2019ll let you know either way. But until I figure it out, I am going to freshen up my Buffy the Vampire Slayer knowledge. Just in case.
Other then that, the rest of the week was a success. The mr finished off the beautiful cedar outdoor table, I picked up farm share and cleaned out my home studio. At the BCA Studio, the kids summer camps started so working there was a bit different. Instead of loading kilns, I was doing clay things with kids. Just got to say, after working all Friday with others peoples kids, hanging out with just Judah that night was pretty much the best. Being around other peoples (not in my family) kids really makes me realize just how cool my littles are. I mean, how cool is it that while I was at work, Judah helped the mr fix a roof? All for a slushy and my home made pizza and just wanted to hang out and draw? That%u2019s a cool kid.
Yesteraday was just a gem. I woke up, did a few things before the sun even came up then sat on the front porch, drank my coffee and read. I even was able to go to the grocery store and cleaned out the pantry before Judah even woke up. (He ended up sleeping over Friday.). I then made pancakes for the boys, harvested greens, and played with the sprinkler. We then picked up Coco to go walk by the waterfront, throw rocks, and of course go down the slide a million times. All this before lunch. After we dropped the little back off, we came home and just hung out. Went for a bike ride, the mr secured the tree from the blowing winds and worked on the treehouse. I cleaned and puttered. The only crappy part was while I was putting away dishes I stabbed a fork under my finger nail. The prong went in deep and it bled like crazy. AGH. I would have rather cut my finger off. And now I have a swollen, still bleeding sometimes, very painful finger that has my heartbeat throbbing in it. But the rest of the day, and evening, besides the pain, was relaxing and lovely.
Today is suppose to be another wonderful day and we are hoping to enjoy it as much as the day will let us. I am going bike to the gym then come home and hop into car with the mr and drive away for the day. Where we are going, not exactly sure. Just out of town, into some of the world. Windows down, wind in my hair, tunes on the radio, coffee in my cup, and a lovely love by my side. Things are good.

Forecasters are calling for a stormy week, supposedly starting today. And you know what, I really hope that we get it, and get it all. Everything is so dry and crunchy and we just need rain. I need rain. Too many sunny days in a row actually start to have an opposite effect on me. I get cranky. I need some overcast and gloom. It helps my brain.%u00a0That might sound crazy, but I know I am not the only one. (right?) Anyway, we need the rain so it better freaking rain.%u00a0
Just another mid summer week.%u00a0 The mr was all week work work working, I did some work, but was not overly busy, I kind of was feeling like shit, especially the beginning of the week. Super hot Monday followed by hot and humid Tuesday just felt like a slap in the face. I am, and I think that we are all, officially over the hot humid shit. It is just too much. I feed Megans evil cat all week which was annoying since that cat basically tries to kill me everytime I look at him (he really is a mean little fucker). Barb and I had a mid week meet up at the farm for green bean and flower picking, Now I have so so so many beans because %u00a0I have been doing a lot of picking of all sorts of tasty things, including beans, at home in the garden (so many raspberries, not to mention all of the kale (Happy dance me)) %u00a0Pretty soon it’s going to be an onset of so much food. I am getting ready. The chest freezer is plugged in, got some more %u00a0canning jars and freezer bags. Bring it on I say. I’l take it, I’ll take it all. Which bring me to Thursday Farm share.%u00a0Got the first tomatoes of the season (whoop whoop) %u00a0and had to stop myself from shoveling them all down my throat. I decided to try and be proactive this year and not overdue the tomatoes and give myself hella shitty reflux. We will see how I do.%u00a0
Friday we had plans for a tree house picnic with the littles but it ended up turning into a front porch picnic. To many people to fit way up high in that tree. It’s all about safety first.%u00a0We had (not me, I ate lettuce zucchini bowl) cucumbers, green beans, peaches, and fluffernutters. Miley and Judah %u00a0were not so impressed because they get to eat that shit whenever, but Barb. Oh was she excited for the fluff, just shoving it down like a champ. Haha.%u00a0And Coco, that little dude can eat. He picked himself a giant cucumber from the garden and managed to eat just about all of it, this is after he ate like a quart of berries and a bunch of green beans. That little, he knows the way to my heart.%u00a0
And then somehow while we were taking our after dinner stroll around the block, the mr fell off of Miley’s scooter and like maybe broke his wrist….For real, his wrist yersterday was like a ballon and he can barely move it. %u00a0I went to work at the studio (loaded a glaze kiln… I am so good at loading glaze kilns)%u00a0and came back to bags of half frozen corn and peas leaking juice all over and the most miserable mr I have seen in a long time. HIs wrist was hurting him way bad. %u00a0SO two things, the littles are to NEVER ride a scooter without the proper head gear and maybe some wrist pads again and maybe not at my house for a while and %u00a0the mr is just straight up NEVER to ride a scooter EVER again. Broken wrist or not. He doesn’t have a helmet. And I can’t deal with a miserable mr.%u00a0
Today depends on how the mr is when he wakes up. If his wrist is still really swollen and he is miserable, I am going to run away…HA, no , I am going to drag his ass to the X-ray place and get his wrist looked at. If he is feeling better, well then I am going %u00a0 bike into town to the gym, hit up the old library, hope for rain, but that it doesn’t start til I get home from said library ( but really I will be ok, my back pack is waterproof so I can handle a little rain) do a few errands with the mr and then veg out for the rest of the asfternoon. I am really hoping for the latter of the two.

Anyways. %u00a0How did your week go? Are you in shock and awe that it is actually finally spring? I have been. Every morning I wake up and expect to see a new coating of snow, but no, it has been ever so pleasant and warm. And raining, which makes me happy because spring rain is the best. Everything is all of a sudden %u00a0green and growing and the flowers and it’s just all so freaking magical and awesome and so so needed. The winter almost broke me. I’m so much better now. This spring week has brought on a lot of outside stuff.%u00a0%u00a0I spent a good day turning over the garden beds and started to rake up the leaves.%u00a0I need about another day to finish that and to dig up all the baby thistle that is covering the lawn. The mr and I did trip out to the NEK for a day. We stood by a rushing river for a while waiting to see the trout jump (we didn’t), then we went to meet the piggies at Jess’s farm, and installed the farmer lady a hot water heater (It’s actually a water heater, not a hot water heater, but I can’t stop saying hot water heater) The trip out of town and into the lushness of spring nature had me even more excited about the weather. Highlight was Judah and I got into a debate over the %u00a0pros and cons of a magic carpet vs a magic couch. I made this salad about a week ago right before the mr and I left town for the weekend. I had just gotten 2 very large canary watermelons from the farm, and had a million cucumbers and a trillion tomatoes from the garden. If a trillion tomatoes seems like a lot it is. But that is how many I had, and still do (this years garden just won’t quit) And with counters of all the fruit and veggies that I could possible want at one given time, we needed to eat some up before we left. But I really wanted watermelon and felt guilty about cutting into one when I would be fine left for a while and there were a million ripe and ready tomatoes to eat that would not last the weekend fresh. But guess what, went for it anyway and cut up a watermelon because damn it, I really wanted watermelon.
So a bazillion tomatoes (notice how the number keeps getting bigger, that’s because it’s truth) a million cucumbers, and now a watermelon that needs to be eaten. Salad it will be. (I had the littles over to eat the rest of the watermelon, they will always help a lady out)
A big ass fruity, citrus-y, crispy, tangy salad. A party of all these fresh fantastic flavors all up in your mouth. The first time I made this, I thought there was a chance the mr might not like it, but as it turns out he like it very very much, enough to eat the whole entire big ass bowl of it. (I got a few measly little bits) I have since made this salad two other times and know well enough to save myself a bowl of my own. The mr forgets to share.
The stuff. Watermelon (I used a canary but a red watermelon works too) onion, cucumber and tomatoes. A jalapeno for a little heat, fresh basil and mint, a lemon and salt and pepper.
First the watermelon. You probably don’t want to eat the rind so remove that and chop up the fruit into mouth sized pieces. IF you have a really seedy melon, just remove what you can see and save them for roasting later (yes roast the seeds.. they are fantastic)
Now the cucumber, onion and jalapeno get their turn to be chopped up. Cucumber into smallish pieces. Onion thin and small pieces and jalapeno into very tiny little pieces. After those go into bowl, it’s tomato time. Just cut up into into mouth sided pieces and into the bowl too.
Red, yellow, and green tomatoes. The colors are so PRETTY!
Mint and bail minces up nice .
Topped with all the fresh herbs, salt and pepper, and lemon juice.
A thing of beauty and tastes better then it looks. A salad worth making over and over and lots of it too.
Make sure to save yourself a bowl if sharing, you might not get any otherwise.
Have a great weekend
-C
serves between 2-4 people
1/4 of a canary watermelon (around 3 cups cubed)
1 cucumber
2-3 tomatoes of any variety
1/2 of an onion (red or sweet white)
handful of fresh basil and mint
1 small jalapeno
1 lemon
salt and pepper
Take watermelon and remove rind then cut the melon into mouth sized chunks. If you melon has seeds, remove what you can (save for later to roast) and place into a large bowl. Grab cucumbers and cut into mouth sized chunks. Thinly slice onion into long thin ribbons then into smaller pieces and then cut up jalapeno.%u00a0 To cut the jalapeno, remove stem, cut in half length wise, then scrap the seeds and ribs from the inside out. Dice the pepper into very small pieces and toss everything you just cut up into the bowl with the melon.%u00a0 Tomatoes now get cut into chunks and those go into the bowl too. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper and the juice of the lemon. Cut or chop fresh basil and mint up and add on in. Mix it all up and that’s that.
Farm share started this week (Hooray!!!) and always the first few pick ups of the season are loaded with a good amount of the freshest, most fantastic greens that there ever was. And I couldn’t be happier! (well maybe if I could just take home creates of the stuff)
While I was down at the farm filling and weighing my bags, I overhead a couple talking about how last year they never ate their greens fast enough and how they always went bad by the next week. What! Fresh greens bad in one week.. no way. A bag of greens can last weeks, just as long as you take the time to store them properly. It made me sad to think about the wasted greens and so now I am determined d to make sure that everyone knows the proper way to clean and store greens so no greens go to waste.
What you need
Your dirty greens
resealable gallon sized bags or large plastic containers (Bags are great for space saving if you have a tiny fridge like me and can be used over ans over again)
a big bowl or wash bin
A piece of clean muslin or other cotton fabric about the size of a paper towel per bag. (can use paper towels, but why not invest in reusable)
salad spinner
clean cold water
I know that some people might not have a salad spinner, but here is the thing. You need one!I am sure that there are people out there that have hacked a way to dry greens without one (like my aunt who is a farmer. She uses an old and very clean washing machine. so smart) but really, you should have one.
To clean. First off, the sooner you get them home and cleaned the better. Having damp greens in a bag is not ideal and will lead to yuk. If I bring greens home and don’t have time to clean and spin them right away, I at least stick a piece of muslin into the bag until I can get to them.
My method for cleaning. Fill a big ass bowl up with cold water and, in small batches,%u00a0 gently dunk and agitate the greens.%u00a0 There are two reason I do it like this. One is that I find running greens under running water doesn’t really get them as clean and sometime can even bruise fragile greens and two, I hate water waste and running water over greens wastes a lot(once I am done with the dirty water, I water my plants with it) If you find the water has gotten really dirty fast (which it will do sometimes) dump water and refresh with clean.
Once the greens have had a good bath, to the spinner they go.%u00a0 When adding greens, make sure to not over stuff the spinner and also spin once, dump water out from the bottom, then spin again. Maybe even three times to get the greens dry.
Line a bag (or container) with muslin cloth and fill it with your clean dried greens. The cloth is important for storing, it keeps the moister away from the greens so they don’t get slimmy and gross. And don’t over pack your greens either. If you have a lot, just grab another bag.
so fresh and so clean clean
And that’s it. Close up those bags and now you can store you greens in the fridge and they will last for a week or more, although honestly, with greens looking this good, how could you resist not eating them all right away (the nearly 2 lbs I brought home lasted about 2 days)
THE LOVELY CRAZY

Pictures from the week

And so are my feet. Chacos or barefoot all day long. I have spent way to much time in shoes this year.%u00a0
And the heat is off and all the windows are open. Ah, freshy freshness. Good stuff.
This spring week has brought on a lot of outside stuff.%u00a0%u00a0I spent a good day turning over the garden beds and started to rake up the leaves.%u00a0I need about another day to finish that and to dig up all the baby thistle that is covering the lawn. Although what I really need to do is get over to al the apartment buildings in town and tend to the gardens and clean up around the outsides. That’s probably what I am going to be doing this coming week.%u00a0%u00a0I did manage to plant some greens and peas in one of my newly turned beds, but I am having a slight problem with squirrels right now so I didn’t plant any more then I was able to cover (I need to get more chicken wire).%u00a0
The mr and I did trip out to the NEK for a day. I said I wanted a carpet because you can roll it up and put it away, but Judah was all about a couch because it would be more comfortable, turn into a bed, come wit pillows,%u00a0%u00a0and because it was magic, you could still fold it up and store it. That kid, he got me on that one. Now I think I want a magic couch instead.%u00a0

I guess that just means I will have %u00a0to spend the day on the porch, wrapped in a thick sweater, reading, napping, and enjoying the coolness before it gets to mother find hot next week. 80 degree days… Now I am going to be bitching about how hot I am.
